Australian brand ModelCo were the latest victims of my online shopping addiction!
I first came across ModelCo products in Priceline stores when they released their Hailey Baldwin collaboration collection earlier this year. So when I was due for an online shopping spree I couldn’t resist the ModelCo website. My haul is listed below with my thoughts.
Flutter False Eyelashes $10
False lashes aren’t an everyday product for me, I generally only wear them on very special occassions or when I feeling particularly confident about the application process. I am an absolute novice when it comes to applying lashes. But for $10 these were good quality and could definitely handle being reused a couple of times (with proper care).
Fat Lash Volumising Mascara $22
I have presented this mascara with the title of my most favourite-ist mascara award. I love that the brush is ACTUALLY a brush and not a flimsy bit of plastic with microscopic teeth. It definitely makes my lashes look longer and fuller (which is exactly what it advertises it does)! You can see me wearing this mascara here.
Lash & Brow Growth Serum $22
THIS WORKS! I purchased this serum in the hope that it would quickly help to grow out one of my eyebrows after a horror waxing incident. And after using every night for almost 4 weeks, my new (and fantastic) brow lady commented on how much fuller my brows were!
Fluidsplash 3-in-1 Foundation $32
The first time I applied this foundation, I used WAY to much! If you apply foundation using a Jelly Sponge you could use even less product than usual as it spreads magnificently. This foundation is buildable, so you can apply additional product to areas as required. I usually add a bit extra to cover the redness in my cheeks and broken capillaries around my nose.
Mini Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner $11
I wasn’t entirely sure what the purpose of this lip liner was, but I wanted to try it anyway. Having already large lips I don’t think it further enhanced my pouty assets. But the colour seems to match a lot of my nude shades. And I can even get away with applying it all over my lips and adding a layer of clear gloss for a natural look.
Eye Define Liquid Liner $14
I am forever searching for great liquid eyeliners. In comparison to the Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo liquid eyeliner, I much prefer this one. Not only is it considerably cheaper, it doesn’t snag on my eyelids and distributes product evenly.
Macadamia Luxury Facial Oil $20
This is the first facial oil I’ve ever purchased. I had no idea of the importance of an oil cleanse until my brother shared a popular Korean skin care book with me. I use the oil every night after cleansing and before toning. It is such a lovely consistency that spreads across my face easily and is soaked up by my skin within a minute or two.
Lip Balm (Tinted) $6
Lip balm is my most used lip product, especially during the windy, cooler months. These lip balms are tinted, which I love! I purchased both the Berry and the Melon shades, at $6 how could I not. My favourite is the Melon shade (which is pictured) because the slight red tint makes me look fresh and alive (not like the mum zombie that I am).
ModelCo was established in Sydney, 15 years ago. In that time the team has created over 250 products! All ModelCo products are Cruelty-Free and are PETA certified! And now offering AFTERPAY as a payment option, it is much easier (and guilt free) to go on a cosmetics/skincare shopping spree.
